Pioneers Stay Perfect Through First Three Games
Rudy DeArmond|November 4, 2026|1 min readThe Warren County Middle School Pioneers ended their first three games perfect at 3-0 after beating Tullahoma East on the home floor, 53-15.
The Pioneers set the tone of the game early going on 17-0 run to end the first quarter. “Great start to tonight’s game. They came out with great intensity and kept it up all game long,” Isaiah Grayson said.
East attempted to get back into the game in the second quarter but Warren County controlled both ends of the floor. The Pioneers went into halftime with a dominating lead, 34-6.
“I told them to go out and dominate and give them no hope and they did just that. I told them this is our standard for every game and if they can uphold the standard we will win a lot of ball games,” said Grayson.
The Pioneers continued to dominate in the second half as the pressure and intensity did not leave the gym no matter what the score was. Warren County led 46-9 at the end of the third quarter.
Warren County completed the game with Cooper Murphy and Colton Todd leading the Pioneers offensively with 13 points apiece. Weston Murphy added 9 points while Case Simpson and Gus Bouldin each added 6 points.
“I am proud of the way we took care of the ball tonight,” Grayson said. “Colton Todd stepped up tonight due to us getting in foul trouble early. Overall, it was a great team effort and I am proud of the guys.”
