The Warren County Way exists to bring local journalism back to the heart of Warren County, Tennessee. Built on the belief that every community deserves to have its stories told, we strive to deliver accessible, engaging, and meaningful news that reflects the people, places, and events shaping our hometown.

What we do

We attend the meetings. We read the budgets. We knock on doors after a storm. Our reporters cover local government, education, business, sports, faith, farming and the everyday things that don't usually make the news anywhere else.

How we're funded

Advertising from local businesses pays for this newsroom, and nothing else does. Advertisers do not see stories before they publish, and they do not get to change them. Sponsored placements are always labeled.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so at the bottom of the story. Send a correction request through our contact page and a journalist will review it.

Lisa has been one of my favorite reporters - no offense to any current or past reporters from Warren County. She was with the Standard during my freshman year as a commissioner.
