McBride selected for All-Star Game

Maci McBride's high school soccer career isn't quite finished yet.

The Warren County High School senior has been selected to participate in the 2026 Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association/Tennessee High School Soccer Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7 in Hendersonville.

The selection adds another impressive honor to McBride's senior season, which saw her earn District 9-AAA Co-Defensive Player of the Year recognition while helping the Lady Pioneers finish with a 12-3-1 record.

McBride was a cornerstone of Warren County's defense throughout the fall, providing leadership and stability for a team that recorded seven shutouts and won six straight matches entering the postseason.

She also delivered one of the season's most memorable goals, scoring the game-winner from long range in a 2-1 comeback victory at Soddy Daisy. It was her first goal of the season and helped Warren County extend its late-season winning streak.

McBride was equally valuable in pressure situations, converting penalty kicks in Warren County's dramatic shootout victories over Franklin County and Columbia Central.

Lady Pioneer coach Todd Willmore praised McBride's selection and the impact she has made on the program.

"This is an outstanding and well-deserved honor. We are incredibly proud of Maci and all she has accomplished throughout her soccer career," said Willmore. "She has made a lasting impact on our program, and it is exciting to see her hard work and dedication recognized in this way."
