A Warren County man has been charged with indecent exposure after officers say he was captured on video.

James Daniel was in General Sessions Court on Tuesday, Oct. 13, for arraignment before Judge Ryan J. Moore. He was arrested on Oct. 1 after someone called to report that they had video of Daniel standing outside his vehicle at 6:40 a.m. and allegedly exposing his genitalia for approximately 15 minutes.

The situation occurred in the parking lot of Arms Apartments in front of building C.

According to the warrant, McMinnville Police Department Detective Chris Summers was provided with a copy of the video and obtained Arms Apartments’ security cameras of the incident. He also ascertained that an Ecco Ride special needs bus stops at that location at approximately 5:45 a.m., two elementary buses stop at the location at approximately 6:15 a.m. and 6:20 a.m., and a high school bus stops at the location at approximately 7 a.m.

Daniel’s next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 12 at 8:30 a.m.
