Lisa Hobbs|September 8, 2026|1 min read“He’s going to be a big boy,” stated a volunteer at Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center of Remi, this week’s featured pet. Remi is a Great Dane mix. He’s under 1 year old. Just like others of that breed, often referred to as the “Appollo of Dogs,” he is affectionate, calm and gentle. He seems to be good with other dogs. It is unknown if he’s tolerant of cats. He would be best suited in a home that can accommodate his size and energy level. Great Danes require moderate exercise daily to maintain health and prevent boredom, which can include walks and playtime.
